Hello, Ranger Nation!
Just beaming down from the Command Center to keep you informed about how the campaign is coming along!
We’ve been working away on making sure that all of the covers and interiors are just right for the LOST CHRONICLES and ARCHIVES BOOK ONE & TWO! Those are heading to the printer for final approval and are on track to print and deliver before the end of the year as planned.
We are also finalizing the merchandise for production. One thing we wanted to call out since it was brought up by a few pterodactyl-eyed fans during the campaign, is that we’ve corrected the positioning of the teeth on the Sabretooth Tiger pin!
We really appreciate how engaged and dedicated the fanbase is and want to make sure we’re dotting our I’s and crossing every T we can find so thank you for keeping us accountable.
Finally, we wanted to take some time and highlight some of the rare retailer incentive covers and exclusive BOOM! Direct Reserve variant covers, for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers issues #108 through #110, that we have available right now through our webstore! These issues lead up directly to our biggest POWER RANGERS event EVER – DARKEST HOUR!
First, our Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #108 1:25 Incentive Variant by Suspiria Vilchez, featuring Kimberly Hart, the Yellow Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, and Ninja Steel Pink!
And then, the start of a wonderful black and white villain series from Ivan Tao, featuring the ever menacing Lord Zedd!
Ivan Tao continues their wicked villainous set with Issue #109, featuring Lord Drakkon!
At Issue #110, we’ve got two other purely evil images! The first is from Elizabeth Torque, for our Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #110 1:50 Incentive Variant featuring series villain, Mistress Vile!
And last but certainly not least, Ivan Tao rounds out the villain series with a spotlight on The Death Ranger!

We’re checking in from the Command Center to let you know that surveys will be coming your way at the end of this week! Keep an eye on your inboxes for an email from BackerKit.
Once you have access to the survey, you will be able to see what you ordered as well as what unlocked Stretch Goal items you qualified for. You will also be able to add-on additional items during the Survey period, so you can snag any books or collectibles that you may have missed during the campaign.
Before we go, we want to make sure all of you saw the two morphinominal 30th anniversary announcements we made this week! First, we announced the full details of the upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 30th Anniversary Special #1 including complete creative teams as well as revealing a full suite of covers that will be available through your local comic store. Hello, Ranger Nation!
Megazord power, indeed! A big thank you to the 1,859 POWER RANGERS fans who joined us in this BOOM! Direct Reserve campaign and reserved a combined $673,733 in books, comics, and other fabulous merchandise!
In the last 24 hours of the campaign, we were able to successfully unlock our final two revealed Stretch Goals. As a reminder, that means that we are adding a brand, new eight page story by the original Pink Ranger herself, Amy Jo Johnson, and co-writer Matt Hotson to the MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS 30TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL #1, and upgrading it to a 64 page comic book! And we will also add an exclusive set of premium enamel pins featuring the beloved Zords from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to every reserved order of $100 or more!
But that’s not the only thing we accomplished in the final 24 hours of the campaign! Thanks to your enthusiastic support, we surged into the top 10 Most Funded of (All) Comic Book campaigns of all time on Kickstarter… making this the second POWER RANGERS campaign to have that distinction. It is also the #3 Most Funded campaign within the Comic Books Sub Category, which is extra morphinominal considering BOOM! Studios also has the #1 and #2 spots.
Now that we’ve wrapped up our active campaign, here’s what you can expect over the course of the next month!
We anticipate launching our post-campaign pre-order store on BackerKit within the next two weeks, where POWER RANGERS fans who missed the initial campaign here on Kickstarter can pre-order the unlimited items made available during this campaign. However, it’s important to note that those customers will not be eligible to receive the bonus items unlocked through Stretch Goals during the campaign on Kickstarter. Those bonus items are strictly reserved for the amazing fans who participated in this active campaign on Kickstarter.
Then at the end of May, you can expect to receive a survey to finalize your order information and shipping costs, along with paying for any Add-Ons and applicable sales tax. Your shipping costs will be billed closer to orders being fulfilled.
One important note: If you have already placed a reserved order through the campaign on Kickstarter and wish to add additional Add-Ons to your order, please wait until you receive your survey to add-on items. If you select items through our post-campaign pre-order store, it will create a separate order, which will be charged and shipped separately.
